Thanks so much everyone for your replies and support. We're still trying and hopefully over time I'll relax a bit more and he'll come to be ok sleeping in the bassinet. I think I out a bit too much pressure on myself :-(

No advice on the product, but just wanted to offer some support.
He'll (hopefully) get there with the bassinet Our daughter barely slept during the day when she was that age. It was arms/swing/pram etc. Do whatever works for you at the moment... it'll come together.

I haven't read the whole thread, so I'm not sure whether or not it has been mentioned, but have a look at suggested awake times for his age. I know that made a big difference with our bub... making sure that she was in bed before she got too tired. She still needed lots of settling/resettling at that age, but she has gotten so much better and I've regained some semblance of sanity

    All the best!

Thanks so much Renn. Yes, I have looked at the awake times and that's why I was so anxious because he's awake so much more than that! But hopefully we'll get there and watching those tired signs and settling will become easier. Meantime, there's a lot of walks in the pram, cuddles, drives etc
Thanks again for the support - I really appreciate it :-)
