I really do not want to see Rudd there and do not understand how anyone wants him back...for one, how can you put faith in a man who denies over and over again that he will challenge Julia, he is a liar, has many in the party who loathe him as he runs a dictatorship and he looks creepy to me.
    Agree with this!

However I don't think Rudd is a liar as such, just very proud - he suffered quite a blow to the ego and for a control freak perfectionist like him that's quite a blow, so his defence is to feign non-interest in going back there. But really, I think he wants it more than anything, but only if he is assured of a win!

I think it was a tactical move on Rudd part to bring her down. Labour is out this year. Maybe Rudd has defected to liberal...:sly:

I've lib friends that shudder at the thought of Tony winning. I just don't understand how anyone could vote for that egotistical nitwit.

I hope Bill Shorten is put up, he's very smart and has a no nonsense way about him.

So no change. I think all that today has done is made the labour party look more unstable. I just hope they pull their socks up because Abbott for pm is simply took awful to contemplate

I think Ms Bryce needs to step in now. This government is a joke. I am deeply ashamed of our current political situation including the liberal leadership. Deeply, deeply ashamed.

Can't believe it Labor now has no hope of winning the election. I agree DSS, both parties are hopeless.

Same. All it has done is destablised the party further. I suspect Rudd didn't quite have the numbers, and he knew he couldn't lose again if he has any hope of taking the position over.
