Dr Opperman! I was booked with someone else but he was on holidays at the time. He delivered my bub by emergency csection (cord issue) in july & miscarriage at 15 wks in dec. Brilliant both times. Cannot fault the midwives at St George Private & I will definitely book in there again next time even though we live an hour away. They have a lactation consultant & breast feeding classes. I've also heard good things about the obs mentioned above.

Hi, Are you able to tell me how much the fees for Queeny Wong were and how long ago this was? Did you get anything back from your health fund?? Thanks

Margaret Booth was my 1st choice but she was on holidays when I was due. Her offices are in penshurst and she works at both Hurstville & St George private.

I didn't like St George private tbh. I hated my midwife, she was an idiot. There also didn't seem to be a specific breastfeeding nurse, rather just the ward midwives helping (whereas the BF nurse at st George public is wonderful).

I have heard the post natal care at Hurstville private is great although the hospital isn't as new at St George private.

    Good luck!

Give her a call. I'm sure they'd be happy to tell you over the phone : )
