    Default Self esteem:(

Since giving birth 19 weeks ago my body has changed - my belly is saggy and covered in stretch marks, my boobs ate huge, saggy and marked, my thighs rub together and my butt is out there. These things I expected and can cope with.

What has pushed me to tears is that tomorrow I'm having a skin biopsy on my nose that will need stitches and will leave a scar. And then if the biopsy is not clear I'll need more surgery and scarring. Right before my birthday and my return to work. And dh doesn't get why I'm upset. I just hate the idea that everyone will be staring at my nose.

You poor thing!!!! I had to have a cyst removed from my face when I was a self conscious teenager so I get how you feel. I begged my mum to let me stay home from school for a week but she made me go and I remember crying and crying because I felt ugly and didn't want everyone staring and commenting on my face. I don't know if it will make you feel any better but the face seems to heal really well. A biopsy should heal quite well and quickly and if more needs to come out you could see a plastic surgeon for a great result.

Its really normal to have body issues after having a baby... Most of us do. Maybe you could get your hair and nails done and treat yourself to a brand new outfit before going back to work for a self esteem booster.

I had a lympoma taken out if my forehead at 12 and again at 18 and it's over 2cm long scar but it healed really well it is just that first few days where you might have a bit if a scab then you should look fine face stuff is scary after all it's how we recognize each other but I'm sure it won't be as bad as you think
