Fortnightly unless there is a reason why they need to be washed sooner. We have a king bed and splurged in expensive high tread count sheets. Each sheet takes up a whole washing machine so sheets plus doona cover is 3 loads of washing. Also I need DH to do it as our mattress is too heavy to lift.

It used to be weekly but since bub arrived and I'm too lazy to change her on the change table in the middle of the night, there have been quite a few accidents on our bed so every 2-3 days at the moment!

I aim for weekly but realistically it ends up fortnightly. That is dh and I. The kids, weekly, or more often, depending on accidents.

Weekly for sheets/pillowcases, fortnightly for donna covers.

    Every few days for towels.
