I had a water birth with my 4th through the public system (Birth centre). The most amazing experience of my life! It was so calm, peaceful and relaxed. Even dh said it was so different from our other births. It was a very fast birth (4 contractions and she was out, thats from zero contractions!), no tearing or grazing which surprised the midwife, I was able to pant my way through her crowning and actually didnt even push her out- because I was so relaxed my body did it for me, and I caught her myself. I cant recommend them enough. I wish I could have done it with all my others, and if we ever have another (highly unlikely), I will be doing it again.
