My hycosy was like bad period pain but not for very long!

I just kept telling myself that it was less painful than labour would be and I was having the hycosy to get a baby so that would be the eventual outcome!! It worked for me, then it was over!

    Good luck

I've rung about 6 clinics in Melb and haven't found anyone. I'm due to book in for one this week. I'd love to know if you find somewhere! Good luck!!

Pardon my ignorance, but are you referring to a hysterosalpingogram to check patency if your tubes? If so, I took 2 Paracetamol & 2 Ibuprofen prior to the procedure and didn't feel a thing! And nothing afterwards either.

    Wow, GA?!

I'm planning on 2 Endone and 2 Valium!! Yes, that's what I'm referring to HyCoSy/Tubal Patency.

Yep, me too. A couple of nurofen beforehand and it was fine. I would say mild - moderate discomfort at most (and not for long, it was over pretty quickly). I had read horror stories so was really nervous leading up to it, but it turned out to be totally fine. I was back working at my desk half an hour later, no worries! Some light spotting for a day or two and that was it

I took a couple neurofen before hand, it wasnt a pleasant procedure but not dreadfully painful. I was a bit crampy for maybe half an hour after then went about my day. My tubes weren't blocked though...I imagine it would be more painful if they were!
