    Default Pregnyl alternative?

Hi ladies, we saw our FS for the first time today and he talked about a med that does the same thing as Pregnyl (promoting more follicles), but apparently has some LH in it. I can't remember the name of it, but I think it started with 'M'. Does anyone know what it might be? He's going to start me on the highest dose because of my age (43). Just wouldn't mind reading up on it a bit. I should have listening more, but it was info overload!

I think you've mixed up pregnyl & puregon, easy to do when info overload hits . Puregon stimulates your ovaries. Pregnyl is used for trigger shots and post transfer progesterone support.

The drug with LH in it is Menopur.

Good luck with your upcoming cycle!

Menopur - that's it! Thanks so much. Now I'll have a little read up on it!
