Hi. My 1st childs birth was complicated and DD was very ill for a long time. She was birthed in a public hospital to a very nieve, young mother (i can see that now!!).
I do not want to go through that when i have a 2nd child.
Is it possible for a 2nd timer to have a home birth with that past history? Will a middy take me on? Would it cost me any more due to the risk factor?

Highly likely that an independent midwife would be happy to support you to birth at home. I have also never heard of a midwife charging more due to a mother's previous birth.
Many times complications in labour are caused by hospital procedures. Do you think this is what happened with your first time? Private midwives are also great at helping you to work through previous births.
