90% of the time I do. If I don't I put it somewhere where it's not in the way of cars and if possible park it with a friend (like put it with another trolley if someone has to get that trolley they can grab mine too)
Though where I go grocery shopping has heaps of trolley bays and we try to park next to or near to a trolley bay for exactly that reason.

Nearly all the time. The few times I haven't, I've made sure a wheel is pushed into the dirt around one of the random trees so it won't get blown away.
And I also leave the kids in the car to pay for petrol.

Yep i take them back. I wouldn't want them smashing into someone elses car.

If I can. There's next to no trolley bays at the local Coles in our new neighbourhood, though, so I haven't put them back recently. I do make sure they go somewhere that doesn't take up a carpark or will hit other cars though.

Of course. It's irresponsible not to. How hard is it to put them in a trolley bay so they aren't blocking spaces and can't hit anyone's car? Seriously?

I always put our trolley back in a bay, I will also put any ones dumped outside of the bay away too.
Unless there is an emergency I think it is pure laziness to not put it in the trolley bay.

Yes I do, we have to put money in them here. And our trolley boys still have a job
I have 2 young kids and seriously have never had an issue taking it back. My neighbour constantly brings them home cause he walks his groceries home, then leaves them on the street outside MY house! Drives me insane, and if I don't report them they start to gather. I once had 5 out there. Bloody twit.
