    Default Clomid question...

Was just wondering what the difference of taking clomid on certain days is? My doc told me to take 2-6. But I've heard some people take it 5-9 etc..

I think the only difference is when it makes you ovulate. My OB told me to take it on day 2 and he said that I will ovulate on CD 14, and I did.

Good luck on your journey xx

Thanks. I took it on CD 2-6 and still no ovulation yet. Upto CD 15 today. But last cycle I didn't ovulate until CD 20 so who knows what will happen...

Remember that also unfortunately it doesn't work first go for some ladies and that the dose may need to be increased.

    Good luck.

I know this is a couple of weeks old but I've only just seen it!!

It's a case of quality over quantity.
Earlier on - like CD2-6 or CD3-7 will result in a greater quantity of available eggies but later like CD5-9 would usually produce perhaps just a single high quality eggie.

hi again girls. Thanks for your info I got pregnant this month on the 100mg taking it days 2-6 yay! So of course now I'm concerned I might miscarry cause of egg quality. Anyway will see how it goes very excited though

Woohoo congratulations! Sorry I missed this and didn't see it until now!

How are things going for you?
I wouldn't worry about the quality! I feel like you've overinterpreted what I've said. That was the most simplistic way to say it. Seriously - DON'T WORRY!
