Default Cars which fit 3 seats across the back

I'm in the market for a car which fits 2 capsules (or rearward facing seats) and a booster seat across the back.

I'm thinking a falcon wagon, but would like to know what other cars people have had success with fitting three in the back?

    I don't want a sedan or 4WD.

Also, which capsules and booster seats are slimline or have you found to fit?

I have a Toyota kluger and fit three seats in, it is a bit squishy though as I have wide seats but I use a seat belt clp extender for my booster which makes a huge difference.

Can't help with the cars but I do have a compaq deluxe baby seat in our car, they seem to be a fair bit skinnier than some of the others.

Default Cars which fit 3 seats across the back

We have a Holden commodore wagon and it easily fits 3 seats across the back. We have had the car about a yr now and I love it!
If its a booster seat your after we have a SNS hi liner which is pretty compact

Default Cars which fit 3 seats across the back

We have 3 seats across the back of our Astra sedan. Squishy, but as the fitter said, the kids have the same amount of space regardless of how much space is between the seats
Your best bets would be slimline seats- the sns capsules, sns compaqs and sns hi liner boosters are all pretty small and I was told they are designed to sit next to each other neatly.

If you have your eye on a particular model car, the nrma website has restraint fitting guides for a lot of car makes/ models.

What year is your Astra cindye?
That's what we're looking to sell (hatch) as I just can't see 3 seats fitting in it, 2 being capsules.
What combination of seats have you put in the back of it?
I could possibly conceive the idea that 3 booster seats would fit in the back.
We currently have a SNS capsule (not sure what style, but it's not slimline) and SNS 0-4yrs seats (one for each car). I'd rather change over seats than car, if it were at all possible!

Thanks for the other car suggestions.

Default Cars which fit 3 seats across the back

Our Astra is a 2004. I was convinced we would have to buy a new car, but we had the seats fitted and the guy told us how to re-configure them as the kids grew.
    We have had these combinations;
SnS capsule, behind passenger seat, SnS compaq in the middle, SnS royale behind driver,
Then, SnS royale rear-facing behind passenger, SnS compaq in middle, then SnS hiliner behind driver,
Now SnS royale behind driver, SnS compaq in middle, SnS hiliner behind passenger.
The fitter told me that in our case, the compaq will have to stay in the middle for the seats to fit well, and I actually tried to swap the royale and compaq the other day. He was right!
Surprisingly, the SnS capsules are the narrowest of all the seats- I would think you would easily be able to fit 2 with a hiliner in the middle, but, be warned that it will be a PITA to do up the hiliner seatbelt.
Alternately, 2 compaqs (rear or forward facing) and a hiliner in the middle should also fit, although the front seats might need to be moved a bit forward if they are rear facing, which will cut down on the leg-room in the front. When you are ready to turn bubs to forward facing you should be able to put 2 compaqs side by side with a hiliner on the outside, which will make doing up that seatbelt a bit easier.
You really need to try them out. Some baby stores will let you see if they will fit. I found calling first and seeing when they were quietest, they were most helpful.

Oh, and apparently, SnS have another seat called a lifestyle which is the same dimensions as the compaq, but cheaper.
