    This is my favourite. I bake it all the time. You can bake it in one spring form tin, a loaf pan or as cupcakes.

    Lovely moist cake with a hard crust for icing. It gets better as the cake gets older

    I use only icing sugar and cocoa powder mixed with boiling water to make a thick icing for it.

    these should keep me busy! I realised the other day that I have never made a chocolate cake. I have nailed a vanilla base because I like to colour it to make ombre or rainbow cake/cupcakes. How on earth did I miss a good chocolate cake recipe!? Can't wait to try these out!

    This one is a chocolate zucchini cake, very moist. The kids didn't notice the zucchini!

    I did not add sultanas and next time I wouldn't do that ganache as it was too sweet.
