Default Pcos and first round of clomid

Hi guys- brand new to the forums. I was diagnosed with Pcos this year after having 60+ day cycles. Doc put me on 7 days of provera to induce period. It has been 11 days since last pill and still no AF. Doc said if AF doesnt show by Monday, to start first tablet of clomid 50 mg ( i really think Af will come before then, however so not worried). I would love to hear clomid experiences and success stories....im so nervous!

Default Pcos and first round of clomid

    Hi Tracy,
Welcome to BH! I was diagnosed a few months ago after not having AF since stopping the pill in August. I was put on the pill again to induce AF which is here now (last cycle was 200 days!) I started my first round of Clomid yesterday.
I am happy to chat if you have any questions! Hopefully we get UTD real soon.

Clomid usually works for PCOS and hopefully you won't need to do many cycles. I fell pregnant with this baby on clomid.

Downside is, for some women clomid can have lots of yukky side effects. I've done 4 ivf cycles and i found clomid the worst, gave me anxiety, panic attacks just felt awful but it only lasts a few weeks, and most of the time it does work so hopefully you will get pregnant quickly. You might also be one of the lucky ones who tolerates it well.

    Best of luck!
