Default Stabbing pain in cervix....should I be worried?

    Hi all
I am 6 weeks 5 days today and last night I was having these horrid stabbing pains in what felt like cervix and also kind of vaginal walls? (Sorry tmi)
They only lasted a few seconds each time but were quite consistent through out the night. I have had them before earlier on but not quite as many times as what occurred last night. I ended up having the worst sleep and accompanied by vivid crazy dreams whenever I did get some shut eye.
Does anyone have any idea what it might be? I did a quick Google search and some places said it is contractions so now of course I am freaking out!!!!
I lost this babies twin last week and can't bare to lose this one too....do you think I should contact my ivf clinic?
    Thanks girls xxx

Absolutely go see an ob asap -,the ladies at the clinic won't be able to help you in this instance. Could be nothing as you do get random pains in your bits during pregnancy but it could be something is going on and it's not worth the risk particularly given what you've just been through!

I had this pain throughout my entire pregnancy. I'm 7 or 8 weeks along & I get them here and there. Maybe go see your GP if you're really worried.

Go to any GP or if you ring your clinic the ladies there are usually great and will point you in the right direction on where to go. The pain could be things starting to stretch & move but best to get someone to take a look - good luck!

So i woke up in the middle of the night and had some dark brown blood, not enough to soak a pad but enough for me to realise. I went to my GP first thing this morning and made an emergency appt as my clinic isnt open on weekends, they managed to get me in for a scan with QDI straight away. Saw bubs and all is fine, the lady doing the ultrasound couldnt see any cause of bleeding around bub. She also measured the heart rate which was 130bpm...is this ok? Bub is measuring at 6 wks 5 days, but I meant to be 7 weeks tomorrow.
Just glad to see that bub was ok. So sick of all this bleeding stopping and starting and getting me freaked out....argh, I just wish I had it easy and was having a text book pregnancy!!!

If it's brown blood, it means it's old blood. As long as it's not bright pink or red. If could be old implantation bleeding, it could be anything. I had brown blood with DS around 6.5 weeks. Some women will bleed when their period is supposed to be due. Some women bleed around 6 weeks, 8 weeks & so on.
It's okay to be measuring a little behind : ) You may have just ovulated a little later than expected. I'm supposed to be 9 weeks on Monday, instead I'm only 7 weeks & 3 days.
The fact that you've seen a heartbeat is fantastic! : )
