One for sink drains I saw on How clean is your home - I think it was 1/4 cup but I just chuck some in, of bicarb and salt, then pour a bit of vinegar in and it starts to froth and cleans the u bend.

I also use vinegar and water on my flooors and windows/mirrors.

I make up 500ml warm water, with 1 tablespoon soap flakes, 1 tablespoon bicarb and the juice of one lemon in a spray bottle for surfaces.

I'm going to attempt a recipe I found for washing powder (4 cups soap flakes, 2 cups washing soda and some tea tree oil) when my shop bought stuff runs out.

Subbing! We have septic tanks so I'm guessing home made would work better.

Subbing! This might be a silly question but where can you get oils from?

    I got some from eBay.

For glass I use a spray bottle of half brown vinegar half water. If you have been using commercial cleaners like windex add a drop of dishwashing detergent to remove the residue. Use a microfibre cloth with it.
