Huge congrats mrs Simmo I know exactly what you mean about being so in love .
Nic I love the name ivy. Our last 3 bubba's are so cute and all a nice healthy size. Well done mummas you did
Thanks km and sl will check out FB for those photographer sites. I ended up booking in with a pro cause I just can't get him in those cute poses like they do.
Sl love your pics, you guys look so happy and its great dh is so involved. They miss so much if they aren't.
Afm am pretty certain I have mastitis. It came on so quick yesterday one min I was fine they the next I felt like I had run a marathon. So sore all over, temp, headache oh and sore boob. Am going to a doc this arvo so hopefully might feel better by tonight. Anyone else had this?

Thanks for the pics.. So cute! Love the names too!
Is that everyone now?? Wow!!!
Dragonfly.. I am on my 3rd mastitis!
I had antibiotics the first time, but the last 2 have been manageable without them ( plus I got an allergic relation to the drugs!)
Treat ASAP!! Put a heat pack on 5 mins before you feed then a cool pack straight after. Massage in shower.. That helps heaps! Good luck!
How are all the new mummies going??

sorry been a bit hectic from sleep deprivation!
congrats mrs Simmo, SL1009, nikesta....so cute and love the names....
in response to some of the questions....day 3 bubs are always unsettled - it's their gut starting to work and all that colostrum and milk which comes in on that day usually sets them off! Cn be a very difficult day for all.
Mastitis is yuck and they say to preferentially feed from the infected side to clear out the ducts, and to go on antibiotics if you feel unwell with lethargy etc. hope You feel better soon sweety.
hows little Ella doing?cis she gaining weight now?
hope all ladies are well and coping with the sleep issues....,

Mrs Simmo very cute, well done!!
SL - cute pics!
Ladies thanks for the advice. Such a great wealth ok knowledge. I wish I could say breast feeding doesn't hurt, but it does, it's not unbearable but it isn't a walk in the park. This latching correctly business is so hard to master, I'm gonna ask for more help this afternoon.
One more pic of dad and bub this morning....everyone says she looks exactly like him

Thanks beta. I couldn't get into the doc till late this arvo and by then I think the worst had past ( don't feel like I have run a marathon anymore) so I cancelled. If it comes back tonight I will call the doctor. Can you feel a small lump cause my boob feels like a sore swollen water bomb behind my nipple. Have been hot showering, hear pack and massaging but it's still there. Is there a special way to massage it?
