    Default Best rug with children?

Hi all. We are just finishing up laying floor boards in our lounge room and I was after a rug to minimise destruction lol Anyone know what is the best material to go for with high traffic wear and tear and easy to clean?? Thanks.

I would recommend low pile with a med/dark pattern

We had an off white shaggy rug, chosen before children and it was a nightmare to keep clean!

Yep, low pile and preferably coil pile as open pile molts like mad in the first few months of having it. You'll have fluff everywhere until it's worn in otherwise .
