I have a history of hyperthyroidism, and hypothyroidism. I am 14 weeks pregnant, and my 10 week blood tests revealed that I am currently hyperthyroid.
My OB wants to just monitor it with blood tests every few months at this stage, as it is only mildly overactive. Just wondering if anyone else has been through this, and what action was taken? I am ok to battle it again for myself, but am worried for the baby

i have mild thyroid disease too. i'm monitored with 6 weekly blood tests and drugs to ensure my thyroid is stable. so far so good! thyroid very normal and stable. there is a link btw thyroid disease and miscarriage and prematurity so its wise to keep an eye on it. good luck
