Default IVF at 40+ - is it worth it?

    Hi ladies

We've just done a FET and BFN. We have a DD from a previous stim cycle. I'll be 40 in August and I would love your thoughts on whether it's worth doing another cycle. We'd love another baby for ourselves but also for DD - I'd rather that she had a sibling than not.

I think when we had DD the chances were 1:3 but now that I'm just about at that magic 40, I gather that it's now less than 1:10.

We would do a maximum of two more stim cycles but part of me wonders whether we've had our luck already - no to mention the money and the heartache.

    We are with Genea Sydney.

    Thank you.

GreenMoon, I need to update my signature because I've just turned 41 but I am lucky enough to say that looking at my gorgeous 10 month old baby boy. I was given a 15% chance of success at IVF. I'm not saying its easy, but there are plenty of babies born beautiful and healthy to us 40+ IVFers.
