I had a laparotomy (a big vertical cut on my tummy) to remove a large abdominal cyst in my abdomen. I have two questions and I'm hoping people can share their experiences:
As my tummy is getting bigger, my tummy skin is stretching, including the scar from the surgery. My doctor suggested fitting a pregnancy belt, but I'm unsure if this can help, since everything I've read about the belts are that they are for back pains.
Does people think it is safe to have a natural birth given this past surgery? My doctor thinks it should be OK (since that past surgery wasn't on my uterus) but 90% of my friends say they would go with a C-section to be on the safe side.
