We are hoping to get away somewhere. Do a couple day trips probably. we didn't realise it was a public holiday until dd1 came home from school and said she gets a long weekend.

we're not up to much. the girls have swimming lessons at St Mary's Saturday and Sunday and DD1 has a sleepover Saturday night and we're off to Neil Young. Apart from that i think it'll be pretty quiet.

Did you know I didn't even realise until some time last week that this is a long weekend? dh believes everyday is a long weekend for me (because as a sahm, I apparently just sit around watching soapies all day and hang out at the park drinking coffee with other mums)

We have decided to hit up the garden though, its getting bad but its just been too hot to get out and do anything. Plus we have the first '1st' birthday party of our mother's group tomorrow. Scary how quick they've arrived!

Work because Monday is usually a work day for me. No studying because silly Polytechnic wont mark my last two units and I can't start the next two until they do. Grrr.

Thinking of going to see the lights display at Kings Park - has anyone seen it?

Good on the Mandurah visitors - I rate the place, so easy to get around and you really feel like you're on holiday. Ditto the mozzie repellant!

Dont have anything exciting planned for the weekend. Yay to it being a bit cooler!

ds is staying with the in laws Sunday night as its our wedding anniversary. We are going to watch a movie in our theatre room and eat cheese and dips with champagne. Can't wait!
