Default How do I get rid of ants?

My toaster is on the other end of the bench but they seem to be coming from where the window is. Ill try surface spray from where they're coming from. I've heard lemon juice works but I'm not sure if its an old wives tale or not lol

We have had an infestation here too.
We use talc or baby powder, spread it around their origin or path and they take it back to the nest and kills them.
I was skeptical at first but it does work.

Dried bay leaves! My grandmother told me this and I didn't believe it could work, but after a particularly stubborn plague of ants I tried it, and it worked! I taped dried bay leaves on the areas where the ants were most common and sure enough within 2-3 days, no more ants! And they haven't returned.

    Subbing.

I bought ant sand and Ant Rid today for the first time in years. I figured one of them must surely work...
