Same thing really...have you tried liquid Gaviscon, or ranitidine tablets? Small meals frequently.
As for all the workplace issues, being a doctor means you have to constantly suck up to your bosses, else there is NO HOPE of gaining a Specialist Training position. I managed to do it before Oscar was born, doing LOADS of unpaid overtime, flirting with crusty old bosses (disgusting, but that's the Medical Fraternity). Stressed about what will be like when I go back and CANNOT do unpaid overtime with 2 kids in daycare. We don't have a union, never will...if you complain you will never succeed (man or woman).

I agree! I'm not fitting into many of my normal clothes. Am only buying maternity items on sale and basics like leggings and tunics.

Hi girls, been reading along so hard to keep up.
Someone was asking about mat leave I will be starting my mat leave at 36/37 weeks & will be having 7/8 months off then going back to work full time as my DH is at UNi.

I have been so tired this last few weeks so haven't done much packing. I want to paint but DH won't let me as I get headaches and dizzy when I'm at our new house trying to help with things so he has been painting every night on his own. This weekend I want to get the carpet organised and in asap. I am holding off going baby shopping until we are in the new house and settled.

I have a concert all day next Saturday so I am guessing I won't feel so good after that

Good morning ladies .. YAY for Friday!

I had a much better sleep last night so am feeling much happier today so YAY me!

I did have a meltdown last night though as my little miss was poking her toes in my lungs and using my bladder as a punching bag and it hurt so so much that I just started sobbing at my DH. Poor thing! I swear sometimes he doesn't know what to do with me!

DH and I have a c-section/parenting class tomorrow so we're really excited about that

Raonbow, hope you feel better soon. I've had to start hitting the heartburn/reflux medication every day now as it's getting to the unbearable stage so I know how crutty it is

MCB, I hope your MS stays away forever! I threw up everyday until about week 20-21 and I still have days even now where I need to take Maxalon to keep the nausea at bay but at least I don't chuck anymore. The last time was at 30 weeks so I'm hoping it continues to stay away for me!

Loonylea, here's hoping you get more energy and soon!

My chest of drawers is getting delivered tomorrow. I feel really tragic because I'm looking forward to washing bubs things on the weekend and putting them away.

Heartburn is a pain, I've had it on and off. I've been feeling breathless since I got out of bed. I hope it passes soon.

I think we're entitled to meltdowns. I hope you are happier today and bubs isn't hurting you quite so much. Enjoy your parenting class.
