    Yes I liked it and it makes alot of sence as you count aloud 1 then 10 seconds in your head then 2 aloud and 10 second in your head and if the child has not responded 3 gets a consequence or you step in.

    The main reason I liked it as it talked about brain development and that the child get the chance to build neural pathways and learn to act appropriately when spoken to as it gives their brain time to process what action they will take. If we jump the gun all the time the child basically doesn't get the chance to learn to make good decisions themselves and can be impulsive as the brain has not developed.

    It is used at my sons school and used at my work. What I learnt in the training course, I didnt like. Too rigid and unforgiving. We have tweaked it for work and I much prefer it our way.

    Basic concept is to give the child discipline without the ongoing arguments that normally happen with them. You dont fight back with the child, instead just carry on with what you were doing and continue to 'count' them on the chart.

    For some kids at work it works an absolute treat...they hate being on that chart. For others, they couldnt care less.

    I love it. Used it for DD from about aged 2. 5. She's now 5 and it works great. 3Y old ds on the other hand its not working as well.
