Nope, no idea. Unless the comics have revealed something?

I do understand all your points, quite well, my DP holds the same.views, lmao. But I do think they need to be 'head hunting' as well. Not to mention they took in Merle!!

Yeah but they took in merle because they don't want to lose daryl and merle is a cnut but his arm is a weapon...nuff said. Some little hitchhiker that looked like he broke into the gap before running for his life doesn't really scream 'i'm a badass who can help you' lol

I'm absolutely fine with them leaving the hitchhiker. Yes, some extra numbers could help them with the Governor, but extra numbers bring extra complications and risk too.

There's no way on earth I would have picked him up!

I do sort of think that anyone still alive at that point must have good survival skills though.

I think the hitchhiker seemed like an anachronism though, deliberately so of course, to heighten the gulf between 'normality' and what life has become - what humans have become.

So, does anyone else see walkers now? You know, in public?

    No? Erm... me either.

I think it's interesting - does this tap into some fear of the 'other'? Once upon a time these movies might have been made using another nation or race in place of the zombies.

    For sure

I've always said I wasn't interested in zombie movies, and that's because I was focussing on the zombies. I still don't really like the zombies, truth be told I look away sometimes! What I love is the interplay between the survivors, the power struggles, the loyalties tested, the notion of order thrown into chaos.

It could be zombies, it could be aliens, it could be North Korea. Doesn't matter.
