Default Need some ideas for dinner with left over salmon!

    Hi all,

So I have a bit of left over salmon that we had at a friends bbq last night.
What could i make with it tonight? I was thinking a pasta or a rice but to be honest, i don't ever really cook salmon so I need all the help I can get!

    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    TIA

Is the salmon already cooked ? You could make fish cakes ?

How long do you think cooked salmon will keep for?

I would not keep it for longer than 2 days - we eat salmon easily 3 - 4 times a week so I usually do lunches with the left overs the next day:

    Salmon sausage rolls or pies
    Salmon quiche
Salmon omelette (I make this for DS for brekky sometimes )
    Salmon /cheese/avo wraps
    Salmon fried rice
Salmon tarts (just on puff pastry with cheese and tomato)
Salmon cakes or nuggets (DS fav)
    Salmon burgers (my fav)
    Salmon ceaser (same as pp!)
    Salmon macaroni and cheese
    Salmon dip
    Salmon buritos

Really anything you use cooked chicken in you can substitute salmon!
