Nope never smoked or drank during pregnancy, find it hard to believe someone couldn't do it for the sake of their child, makes me very sad

Never been a smoker as I am a chronic asthmatic and find it hard to breathe at the best of times so why complicate things

I've watched my cousins and brother's partner smoke like chimneys throughout pregnancy and it makes me sad. Sad for the child who doesn't get a choice but to be pumped with all these toxic chemicals.

Well done to those who have managed to quit or cut down during pregnancy!

Smoked all the way through my pregnancy with my now 9yo (and more ashamed to say pot too, have long sice given that up though). He is happy, healthy and intelligent although ADHD. Smoked my last two pregnancies which were both missed MC's. Will quit before I start trying again though that is a while away.

I'm not a smoker, so no I didn't. I do find it hard to understand how anyone could do that to a baby. I absolutely hated it when people smoked around me while pregnant, I would always leave the space. Of course I say this as a person who has never been addicted to anything. So don't take my judgement too seriously, I don't understand is all.

I smoked before my first and this pregnancy. My pregnancies always turn me off it pretty much immediately anyway. Can't stand the taste or the smell

I've never smoked so it wasn't a problem for me, but I do know a few people (including my mother!) who were smokers before pregnancy and NONE of them could give up completely. Cutting down to 5 per day and lowering the mg was as far as any of them got

Can't do poll as I'm on my phone.

No never smoked while pregnant, I'm very anti smoking and think it's sad when people do.

When my son passed away inside me at 39wks and after delivery they asked if I was a smoker as having a growth restricted baby is one of the risks for women who smoke. this is why it upsets me so much because I think that people who smoke are risking their babies life and honestly I wouldn't wish what happened to me on my worst enemy.
