On my phone. Yes I did smoke. Still am. I cut down though. And I have my reasons. I'm not going in depth about it here but my drs advised me not to quit. They said it was better to keep smoking for several reasons. I hope no one judges me because of it?

Yes I did. Through all 3 of my pregnancies.
I finally quit in 2010 and haven't looked back

On my phone as well.
I quit as soon as I found out I was pregnant with both kids. That day. I realise I am very lucky that I can just stop when pregnant.
I went back to smoking after each child. About 3 or so months after birth.

Can't vote on my phone. I will be honest although I opening myself up to a hell of a lot of judgements here. I did with both mine not proud of it at all not happy about it all and I won't make excuses or justify it being ok because it wasn't. On a positive note its been 6 days smoke free (though today's been sh!t and I'd love one)

I feel sorry for women who cannot give up smoking during pregnancy because of the social pressures to do so. I can't imagine the guilt they must feel. I understand addiction and I really try my hardest not to judge. I don't think it's indicative of a woman's parenting skills whether or not she smokes during pregnancy and I think there are far worse things a pregnant woman/parent can do.
ETA, I quit smoking 3 years before falling pregnant.

I quit the day I found out I was pregnant with my first pregnancy. I took it back up (so silly) about 12mths after he was born, and quit again the day I found out I was pregnant again.

No. But my grandfather died from emphysema and my mother smoked like a chimney throughout my childhood so I ...never took it up to start with.
Congrats to the ladies currently trying to quit! Keep up the good work!
