Default Faith in receptionist somewhat restored ๐Ÿ˜€

I had a specialist appt today, he is always running late, sometimes an hour late. I try to avoid taking my kids with me because of this but had DD with me this time. She was being really good, eating the snacks, chatting away with me but by about 40mins waiting she was about over it.

The lovely receptionist who also has a 3yo had her personal iPad with her and gave it to my DD, got peppa pig on for her and said you can keep it while mummy sees the doctor.

I accidentally shut the lid when we got into the room so my specialist took it back out to reception and they logged back in and brought it back to DD.

I've seen this specialist every 6 months for 8yrs and there's been a lot of reception changes but I hope this ones a keeper, she's always friendly and pleasant to deal with and went above today and I'm really grateful.

Write a letter to her employer expressing what you have here.
And a thank you card for the Receptionist.
Such gestures go a very, very long way.

This is a great idea. It makes you feel good when you get a thank you and also shows her employer that she's a great asset to tin business.
