    Default Curling Wand/Iron

What's the best curing wand/iron to purchase? I have long hair and have a party to attend to in a couple of weeks and want that loose curl look instead of straightening it for a change.
But don't know where to start as there is a few on the market.
What do you use to get your Hollywood look???

What type on straighteners do you have? If you Have GHD's you can use them to curl too.

I have a GHD but find it doesn't give my thick long hair that nice curl

Ha I just saw an ad for hairwavs I think it's spelt. 49.95 curls your hair easy without hot irons or wands I'm definitely ordering it. Have a look at the website. The curl is gorgeous and loose like you want. How ironic you post this straight after I see the commercial

Ok just a word of warning though I ALWAYS get sucked into these commercials so please check it out first haha!

I have a VS 'Big hair soft curls' curling iron. It makes loose waves/curls and I love it. I can never get my curls right with a ghd, but this does the trick :-)

The VS ones are great. Are you giving your hair a light hairspray on each section before you curl?
