Runny poos are common... Redness, not sure. Are they irritated at all? I wonder if there is any chance that the acid in his stool is irritating them?

It is very common to get very regular bowel movements, even diarrhea, nappy rashes, thrush, ear aches, grumpiness and fussiness with food during teething.

Teething has a lot to answer for. Try not to worry to much about the regular poos. I learnt from the people on here that corn flour works a treat on red rashes. Better than creams and other baby powders.

Thankyou all very much, the powder I'm using is 25 % zink oxide and 75 % cornstarch,he has improved a lot since last night, I have also done a lot of google searches and I think ur right about the acid as it says that when a baby is teething the acid in their urine and stools increase...once again thanks heaps for your replies.
