Default Does this affect my criminal record ?

I got a fine for driving ages back anyway totally forgot about it and they suspended my license for not paying.
So I paid it I dont care if it's on my driving record but it won't go on a criminal record will it?
And what happens now that it's paid? Can I drive again?

Ok but I heard suspended licenses go on the criminal record.
Maybe that's only for criminal stuff like driving on suspended licenses or ssomething.

You'll have to wait until your suspension is up. Was it 3, 6, 12 months?

I dont know Im sorry but would you be able to call the local police station and ask them?

Or maybe try the local traffic authority in the state to see what they say?

Sorry, no idea. Hope this has been some help!

It's not a suspension as in losing your licence. It's a temp suspension until you sort your fine

I would say that it would only go onto your criminal record if a judge hands it to you, in this case I don't think it will

I lost my license for a year... It doesn't come up on police clearances ( I spun out and crashed my car on a rainy day... No speeding or anything but apparently I had to lose my license)

I'm pretty sure it doesn't go on a criminal record. It goes on your traffic record, but it's not a criminal act as such.

They just need you to pay the fine so they suspend it. Well that's what it was ten years ago when I worked for the transport department.
