Actually part of the reason I didn't mention this movie earlier is cos I thought no one else would remember it. It must be what, 20 years old?
I reckon about 20. I mentioned it on the first page of the thread but was a bit unsure regarding the ultra violent nature of it, but still it's a wicked love story! Love Christian Slater too! Havent seen him in anything in ages... I need to watch it again too! It's got Tony Soprano in it too, he's the dude that gets his foot stabbed.

Ohh and "bride and prejudice" for a bit of Bollywood
And not strictly a romance but I love the bit in speed where he realizes she's handcuffed to the bus and stays with her....

    Lost In Translation

Billy Murray & Scarlett johansson ... Not the typical 'love' story, but a very interesting take on love.

Such a great movie. Might have to watch that one tonight.

ETA, I mention this movie in another thread a few minutes ago - Dream a Little Dream. Being a Corey's movie it is a teen movie but also has a really nice insight into the fact that older people can still have a real depth of passion for each other.

On tv, the episode where Monica and Chandler get engaged in Friends. I cry every time, in fact I could cry right now.
