Yep. I can see that the temps are slowly getting higher, hopefully you get a big jump.
This was one of mine- it took ages for ovulation to be apparent. But I don't have any progesterone issues, so it was just slow rising.

The reason why I hoped the temp would go higher is because I had hoped I ovulated more than one egg, as I've been on Letrozole.

Ah I see. I can see why it's so stressful
Did you do IUI?
06-02-2013 09:23 #44
Nope, AI with our own donor (my DH has no sperm).
I don't see any advantage to doing IUI personally.

Nor do I. Wish we hadn't had to do it, was totally useless and a waste of $$.

We went straight into IVF, as my DH did a microdissection to see if they could find any sperm, on the same day as my EPU (was all coordinated by the doctors), and we chose a donor as backup. No sperm found, they used the donor sperm with my eggs & that cycle worked! But I miscarried. But then we just blindly went back & did another cycle and a FET without really thinking. And when those didn't take, we thought "well, hang on - there IS another option here". Found our own donor & now trying AI at home every month.
We just went to see FS last week to discuss, and see if he thoguht there was any reason this couldn't work, any tests I should have etc. He thinks I'm fine & ovulating fine & doesn't see any reason why it won't work. So was happy to send me for a few blood tests, will check my tubes next month if this month doesn't work & wrote out a script for more Letrozole (the ones I took were given to me by a friend. ). So it's good that he's onboard with how we want to do it & didn't pressure us at all to do more IVF or IUI through them (although it's always an option). Maybe I should just relax a bit more, but it's been a rough journey. I don't think success rates for IUI are much better than trying the normal way, and the costs are quite high.
And all of that had NOTHING to do with temping! Sorry to go OT.

Hehe. I won't even go into my story, but if our donor hadnt moved to qld, we would probably still be doing AI.
I'm so annoyed we wasted time with IUI!

That's ok peoniesarepretty to you and hoping you get a sticky bean soon.
DH and I are very early into our TTC journey and I just hope that we are able to do it naturally.

Rainbow - not to mention the money! Would you consider finding another donor to do AI with? Which clinic are you with?
Poida - I hope you can too. Don't wait too long before getting checked out if it doesn't happen.

We are at fertility first.
I'm not sure how we feel about finding a new donor. The last 2 times we've had our hopes totally dashed and I don't want to do that again.
Having said that, it's probably our only option if IVF doesn't work, because we definitely won't be able to afford another stim cycle so we are hoping we get a few frosties at any rate.
