I make a custard base in the Thermomix than pop it into the ice cream machine when it's cold. Can't remember the recipe though sorry

This is the basic Vanilla recipe I use (when I want a quick one, as there's no real fussing)
But the best thing I've EVER made in the ice cream maker was Mango Sorbet.
2 cups water
1.5 cups sugar (white/raw)
Pinch of salt
Stir over medium-low heat until auger is entirely dissolved.
Add to Blender (or blend with stick mixer) with mango. I have used one big, ripe juicy mango, and I have used 3 smaller mangos. It doesn't matter. It's always awesome!
Anyway, blend it up well, refrigerate completely and then pour into ice cream maker.
Seriously awesome. Add a scoop of vanilla when you serve for a 'Weiss bar' experience
I made the chocolate sorbet but it's just. SO. Rich. Haven't got it perfect yet. Still fiddling with the quantities.
