Btw have to say akuc's cheekbones should just singlehandedly win this for her ha ha ha.

On a more relevant note - the judges as usual love a story don't they?

I cant stand the personal stories on any reality show. You are there to cook and show your abilities as a chef. I cant help but feel like the stories do have some sort of sway on how the judges vote, whether they mean to or not.

London - totally agree. I was telling my friend yesterday as we were watching the show that it was pretty damn hard to beat an African refugee story + dish. Unless you're going to pull out the dying-parent-this-is-the-last-dish-they-made-me story...

Mind you I really like akuc an her soup did look delicious!!!

DP thought it was funny how her name looks like "A-Cook" ...rather fitting.

The lady with the "I love my kids" story was the one that kind of got me rolling my eyes a bit. You dont go into a job interview and gush about how your kids are everything to you and how you want the job 'for them' ...didnt get it.

    ....Im such a cold b!tch

It would suck to be a chef or food critic. I just want to eat my meal and go 'mm yumm' not automatically pic it apart in my mind and know each ingredient and how it could have been done better. How draining!
I too am over the sob stories. Totally not needed.

Btw I can't believe akuc has never had fish and chips!!! O well am glad she stayed though as I like watching her. Mind you if I were her I'd be brushing up on all the Australian local dishes like... Meat pies, sausage rolls, Dagwood dogs etc. Never know when they might ask them to reinvent the pie to become a fine dining dish

And Cassie she's quite impressive for her age isn't she?

My Kitchen Rules. Starts tonight at the same time. I'll be switching to MKR......I never watched Masterchef before but watched this season for Marco, but it is just so lame and full of sob stories.
