38+ pregnant and asked to babysit?
What goes around comes around? Exactly - she mucked you around and wasted your time last week, now it's come around to her - you said no this week!

Your MIL sticking her nose in and fighting battles for a grown adult: pathetic!

38+ pregnant and asked to babysit?
People are idiots, seriously. She should make her appointments at a time when she knows someone can watch the kids, or take them with her. Surely she didn't make the appointment at the last minute, she should have planned ahead!
I hate the MIL thing, what's it got to do with her?? DHs family does this, someone will call and ask us to do something, if we can't go (we usually make every effort but sometimes we've got other crap to do!) someone else calls and tries to guilt us into it. Really annoys me!!!
I would have said "I'm really sorry, you know I try to help out where I can but it's too short notice - DH is coming in tomorrow and we had already planned to go see him arrive, plus I've got my hands full getting ready for bub".

Gee! I would be saying a big fat NO! Haha!
That's the last thing you need. I think just be honest. It's a little rude of her to ask!

I can't believe she said what goes around comes around. That would be the nail in the coffin as far as I am concerned. What a Queen Bee!

38+ pregnant and asked to babysit?
Well I would like to let you ladies know I didn't babysit. Instead my daughter, the dog and I headed down to the beach
had a great splash and watched the ship come in.
Was lovely to de stress and enjoy the last day I have alone with my beautiful daughter before she is no longer number one! ( hubby is home tomorrow morning) yay
