    Default hospital catchment

    E have just move up the sunny coast from Brisbane and have just fallen pregnant....has anyone had any luck in getting into the mater hospital in Brisbane or the royal woollens in bris...I'm a public patient...

    You can google 'mater mothers catchment zone'. They are very strict, I work there, live 200m out of the zone and can't get in unless I'm classed ad high risk.

    I googled your postcode deezee and compared it to the published list of acceptable suburbs for mater mothers and sorry but as a public patient you won't be accepted purely because you haven't got the right address. RBWH doesn't have a published list that I've been able to find but they are Northside so it's probably a no-go there as well

    My sister lived in cannon hill and was told she had to go to Redlands as south Brisbane was full
