Thank you - Will try and see if we have one locally - unfortunately we don't live in Melbourne. How long did it take you to get it? Just hoping my husband will back me up when we push for testing.

    Hi number 4,

Sorry to hear about your loss.

Not sure how old you are but f you are over 30 and had 2 consecutive miscarriages you should be ale to get genetic testing. I had it done once when I had my second DC in a public (not sure if you are public or private) hospital and I had to make 'justification' as to why they should test. So just be ready in case they ask you and stand your ground.

Good luck and look after yourself.

I saw a private specialist ob, I think my appointment was in about 3-4 weeks.

The way I chose her was to go on the Internet for references from other people. I trawled through the melb IVF web site and read all their bios, Lyn just seemed right, so I chose her.

Alternatively, you can go through the recurrent miscarriage clinic in your city hospital. It con take a while to get an appointment and they might be less likely to try new things.

Like a pp said, you have to be VERY assertive, know your stuff and argue for testing.

    Good luck

Thank you for your advice. Having testing done after D&C tomorrow which is good - one thing checked and the rest to go!
