    I don't think it can hurt as long as the dr is supportive of doing shakes

    Optifast suggest seeing a doctor. There is a list of doctors on their website that actively support and are knowledgeable about the optifast program. I'm not seeing my Dr this time round but last time it was my doctor who suggested I do the program. There are also dieticians and naturopath's that are aware and are helpful with the program. Maybe check whatever shake you go with's website to see what they recommend.

    Thank you. Its a real big deal for me lol I am buying some shakes to start tomorrow and it jsut really gave me huge motivation. The hungry side of things wont make a difference because Im hungry all day but dont eat, bad thing I know but at least buy having shakes it will give my body what it needs. I want to start exercising too, we have a cheapo cross trainer so I will give that a go.     I don't tell anyone im doing the shakes.. dh just thinks it's funny and says i won't last.. - ok so i have been on and off them, so i get where he's coming from, but it still annoys me! I still feel big too. i hate my thighs... ooh they kill me.

    I know Hokey Pokey! great for making someone feel even more motivated... not.

    Meh. I usually hang up a couple of pieces of clothes that i want to fit into and work towards that. it's so rewarding when it finally fits.

    I have just been to the chemist and spoke with two girls, they both highly recommended Isowhey Complete. So I went with that. One girl lost 30 kilos (she looks great) and another has lost 20. So Im happy with this and tomorrow I will see how it tastes.

    Hokey Pokey. Im soo glad my mum is on these things because I know how she would react once I started. At least with her on them too she cant bag me out for being on them.
