I don't really have a favourite breed, but have taken on dumped dogs of various breeds from a toy poodle to a bull mastiff, even a foxy. The ones I'm a little wary of are boxers, but it really depends on their upbringing. I choose not to take on boxer rescues because it's hard to know how they were previously treated. I have babysat SIL's boxer though, she bought her as a pup from a breeder so background was guaranteed. She loves visiting her Aunty! I stick with medium breed forever dogs myself because large breed dogs eat too much and smaller dogs tend to use a lot more energy and require more than what I can give long-term so it wouldn't be fair to take one on as a forever baby only to not have enough oomph to keep up.

My little miss is a silky x maltese. Cutest thing ever and if we do get another dog we'll be trying to find a similar breed.
When we decided to get a dog we didn't really have a breed in mind. Neither of us had any real preferences.

Another Greyhound owner here! We have Lotta, roughly 5 years old and she's awesome
Greyhounds and Whippets are my fave breeds, but I also love Bull Terriers, Great Danes and Neapolitan Mastiffs. But gosh, I'd never own one...THE DROOL!

We have 2 beautiful boys, one is a mastiff cross Australian red cattle & the other is a pure bred Australian blue cattle. I do love them
But I also am quite fond of German shepherds
So overall it would be cattle dogs and German shepherds for me

I love big dogs, right now I have 2 dobermans (male & female chocolates).
But I have a soft spot for ridgebacks, vizsla's, pointers and danes as I previously had these breeds.
Not sure if I could cope with a lil dog as I have been bitten 3 times & every time it was a jack Russell lol so they scare me.
