Hi ladies. I wonder if I might butt in?

im not currently pregnant, but I just thought my weight gain with my DS might be worth a thought?

I put on 23.5kg at term, DS was 3.4, and within 2 weeks of his birth I only had 10kg left to lose (ie I lost 13.5kg in 2 weeks). Fluid retention was shocking (but pretty much went within a few days of DSs birth)), and breast feeding helped too.

i guess my point is, not all weight is really weight - it could be fluid...

Aw I hear ya MrsL, I've got 11 work days but that takes me to 2 weeks before my due date, if I make it that far. Bub is breech and they're talking c section so I won't make it to 40 weeks if that's the case!

Yeah understandable about not wanting the c section. Do they think she will turn?

Its unlikely she will by herself this late, I'm seeing a specialist on wednesday about having an ecv done but I'm not 100% sold on it, bit nervous !
