    I would steer clear of petunia, gladys or marigold...

    Go for something simple like rose, Lilly or ivy.

    My DHs family has the same tradition of flower middle names, we used Aster :-)

    How about Jasmine ?

    But i think with a first name ending with an 'a' you'd be best using Rose, Fleur, or one of the 'y' ending names

    I LOVE Aster but it doesn't quite go with the first name. Iris is the main contenter atm.
