Default Giggle and hoot first birthday

Has anyone had a giggle and hoot themed birthday? Just wondering what you did as I'm looking for ideas. It will just be at home

Default Giggle and hoot first birthday

We didn't end up having a party but we considered an owl themed one! Only cancelled it as we ending up moving house so just had a family lunch with a nice cake. My DD loves hoot but I was looking at more of just an owl party as giggle and hoot party supplies were hard to get! Pinterest has lots of gorgeous ideas if you type in owl party, owl cake pops, owl buntings, owl themed food. You could change the colours to blue and orange to make it more giggle and hoot. Although I did see recently at the ABC store that they have giggle and hoot party packs now so you could base it around that and just get ******ers and balloons to match! This is a pic of my DD's cake, ended up choosing Hootabelle

Wow! That is one gorgeous cake!
Thanks for the tips. I did see that the abc shop has the plate/napkin packs. But they work out to be so expensive! I've had a look on etsy and there isn't much at all (probably as g & h isn't American). But I didn't think of pinterest, thanks!

Is your LO a boy or girl?

E.T.A - I tried to add photos of cakes but not working on phone. If you google 'cake 2 to the rescue', they have a Hoot and Hootabelle cake kit for about $35. This includes everything that you need and instructions that are very easy to follow - all posted to you!

To save money, for a boy you could just buy blue & orange plates/napkins and for a girl, pink/purple/brown.

ETA: for a cake you could just do a round or square 2 layer cake and put Giggle and Hoot themed ribbon around it...

I have a little boy Pesca, though I think he likes jimmy giggle the best! That site is fantastic, il keep it in mind definitely. And yes I think orange/blue plates etc are the way to go.

Babylove, have you seen that woollies do a peppa pig cake?pretty good for $22!

Thanks for all the help, his birthday isn't until April so I'm brainstorming and buying anything I need from overseas until then!
