I take a different pill (Loette) and I've had breakthrough bleeding that lasts a good two weeks on two occasions where I forgot to take my pill at night and took it immediately in the morning (so about 10 hours late).

It is such a pain! I am vigilant now because I know what will happen if I forget. I was on the same pill for a few years prior to pregnancy and taking it a few hours late never caused prolonged break through bleeding.

See your GP, you may need a stronger pill?

Tampons soak up moisture from the body and if water gets up there they absorb that too..... No such problem with the cup.
