    Default Need help identifying bird?

Out of curiosity I'm wondering if anyone has an idea as to what type of bird this is? I'm in south east Queensland. My stupid cat brought him into the house, unharmed, and has been playing with him. He's obviously fallen from a nest somewhere as he can't fly.

I haven't been able to put him back outside because my neighbours have cats and there are also stray cats so I don't want him hurt. I'm waiting for rspca wildlife people to come collect him, but curious to know what kind of bird it is?

Is it like a falcon or something? I can't really see it on my phone but just looks that way colour wise.

I think it looks like a baby miner bird, the native one, not the introduced one. Let us know when they pick it up.

It's mouth looks really similar to that of a Tawny Frogmouth. But the eyes look different so it's probably not.

Baby minor or baby wattle bird, beak looks like a minor bird though.
You can get some baby bird food mix from pet shops that is crushed bugs and seeds that you mix with water to make a paste.
