    Default Sleeping on side

My LO is shy of 7 weeks, and only wants to sleep on his side.

SIDS guidelines say they should only sleep on their back, so what do i do? He will scream for hours on his back, but the minute he is on his side, will fall asleep.

Being more upright does not help either, he wont sleep in the bouncer, swing or a raised bed.

My daughter has always slept on her side as she would vomit otherwise. She is my third and I felt safer that she is asleep and comfortable than on her back gagging on sick . I just have her in bed with me or would have her in bassinette in the living area and check on her. She is 3 months now with quite amazing head control for her age so I'm not so worried anymore of her turning on her tummy but I still check her constantly .

    Default Sleeping on side

As long as you have something either side of him (rolled up towels are good!) to stop him rolling onto his tummy whilst he's still little then I don't think there's anything wrong with it tbh.
