    I bought a cot from target about 5 years ago on sale for $150 and it has lasted 2 children, and my third will move into it eventually. It is very sturdy and still looks great!

    Yes childcare is the brand that's which one I got from Target. Look out for the sales though because they are half price then.

    I was in target on wed and they had a cot & mattress on sale - would be worth checking out

    When their big baby sales are on, they usually have extended layby periods. We did this at 6 weeks thinking if something were to happen, we could cancel our layby. Just don't do a long layby on a carseat as that means the expiry date is getting closer before it's even used.

    Didn't even know car seats had use by dates thanks. Might look into it further
