hb via a doppler ? if yes then yes its too early .

a hb should probably be visable by that stage on ultrasound i think

HB via a doppler can't be heard until approx 9 weeks minimum. HB via an ultrasound should be approximately around the 6 week mark but I have heard of cases where it took until the 7th week to see a heartbeat. Did you have an ultrasound?

Did you have an abdominal scan or an internal scan? On an external scan you might not yet see a HB, but you should see one on an internal by now. , must be a stressful time for you

I wouldn't worry just yet. If bubs was measuring spot on and they could see a sac and foetal pole then it may just be on the cusp of hearing a heart beat. I know that when I went for my dating scan at 9 weeks, my ob couldn't see a heartbeat. Turns out I have a retroverted uterus and even with an internal ultrasound he found it hard to pick up.
What were you told OP? Did they tell you to come back?

She was told to get bloods done but that was it. She will here from her specialist tomorrow morning.
She also hasn't had any cramping ect but she said that could be from all the hormones she is taking.

Hugs for your sister If bub was measuring spot on and they only did a tummy scan I would be going back for an internal scan. When Its that early sometimes the only way to see a heart beat is an internal scan. Im suprised they didnt try I hope everything is ok

Definitely get her to go for an internal. And try not to worry.

I hope everything is okay for her.
